Silloth Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Clerk To The Governing Body, 30-40 hours per year, term-time only. Start date as soon as possible. Pro rata full-time salary is £24,796 but the position is only part-time at 30 to 40 hours per year. The salary is BS3A (£12.85 per hour). This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

The Governing Body of Silloth Primary School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Clerk to the Governing Body.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with agenda planning
  • Attend and minute committee meetings and full governor meetings
  • Liaise regularly with the Chair of Governors & the Head Teacher
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • Be available to work during the school day and some evenings
