Permanent Senior Teaching Assistant (EYFS) 32.5 hours per week PCD 7 £28,598 to £29,540 per annum, pro rata, term time £14.82 rising to £15.31 per hour. Actual salary £21,505 rising to £22,216. Term Time Plus 1 week inset days.
The Governors of Jericho Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and skilled Senior Teaching Assistant to start in Sept 2026. As this is an Early Years post, candidates must have an approved Level 3 early years qualification (e.g. CACHE/NVQ Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner, Early Years Educator or equivalent on the DfE EYQL) AND a Level 2 English qualification (GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2, or equivalent). A working understanding of effective teaching and learning is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of how children learn.
