We are looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our established catering team to start as soon as possible. Caldew is a well-established secondary school in the Dalston area of Carlisle. We have over a thousand students to whom we provide an outstanding in‑house catering service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our team, preferably with experience of working in a busy food or educational environment but personalised training will be provided to ensure you have the tools to complete the role to a required standard.
At Caldew we have a small group of dedicated supervising midday staff who support behaviour standards in the dining area of school. The provision is supplemented by support from the existing teaching and support staff team to manage the wider lunchtime experience for students.
We are looking to recruit a midday supervisor with a friendly and professional outlook to ensure that the experience of students is efficient and safe. This is a vital role in a fast‑paced environment.
This role involves regulated activity with children. You should not apply if you are on the children’s barred list. Caldew School is committed to the protection and safety of its pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An online search will be carried out for shortlisted candidates. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the DBS.
