Monday – Friday 9.30am – 1.30pm 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week. Permanent.
Bridekirk Dovenby Board of Governors are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant, who will assist the Kitchen Team Leader with the preparation, service and clean-up of our in-house school dinner provision.
The main duties of this position are:
- Basic food preparation
- Setting up the dining hall and trolleys for food service
- Washing up and cleaning
The Kitchen Assistant will be provided with all relevant training to allow them to fulfil this position.
Applicants must have relevant experience and qualifications i.e. NVQ 2 or equivalent experience working in a food service environment. They will hold a Food Hygiene certificate and have experience of working effectively in a team role.
