Kirkbride Primary School are looking to appoint a Clerk to Governors to join our Primary School for 97.5 hours per annum. Applications are invited from suitably qualified or experienced individuals who have excellent listening and oral and written communication skills as well as good ICT skills. This role is permanent, subject to a probationary period.
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
- Provide advice to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters
- Provide effective administrative support to the governing body and its committees, including attending and recording minutes for full governing body meetings (up to 6 per year) and sub-committee meetings (up to 6 per year)
- Ensure the governing body is properly constituted
- Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements
