Frizington Nursery School & Preschool are looking to employ 2 temporary Childcare Practitioners who are friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and giving every child the best start to their Early Years education. It is an exciting time at Frizington Nursery school as we continue to grow and expand our school.
PCD5 £25,989 pro rota, 1x term time plus 2 weeks and 1x full year. 30hrs per week, overtime will be available. These are 12‑month contracts. 1x Temporary due to Maternity Cover and 1x due to Budgetary Funding. The positions are to start 23rd February 2026.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or nearly at completion)
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
Responsibilities:
- Work constructively as part of a team
- Liaise effectively with staff and parents
- Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms
- Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils
- Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue professional development
- Demonstrate experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Have excellent communication skills
