We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team and help drive our school from good to great. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, adaptable leader who can model high expectations, champion inclusion and shape a positive, nurturing culture where children feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
You will coach and develop staff across the school, drawing on strong pedagogical knowledge to support high-quality teaching from EYFS to Year 6. Rooted in our Trust values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience, you will bring emotional intelligence, clarity and ambition to your leadership. You will be visible, approachable and committed to building strong relationships with pupils, staff, families and the wider community.
As part of Cumbria Education Trust, you will benefit from high-quality professional development, strong peer networks and opportunities for career progression. While your initial deployment will be at Newtown Primary School, you may be required to work across other schools within the Northern Hub.
