To effectively teach designated students and to undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties in order to provide high quality and continuity of education to pupils in the absence of their 'regular' class teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
- Ensure the effective/efficient deployment of classroom support
- Work as a member of the school team and to contribute positively to effective working relations within the school
- Supply appropriate planning materials, following school plans where provided
- Implement and maintain the behaviour policy of the school
- Take part in the Trust staff professional development programme by participating in training and professional development
