Teacher – EYFS Required 1st September 2026 – Temporary, fixed. The post is temporary until 31st August 2027 due to pupil numbers for the following year and budget reasons. The Head Teacher and Governors of Upperby Primary school wish to appoint a suitably qualified, committed and enthusiastic teacher for our school. This teaching position will be suitable for an experienced, bright and dynamic teacher who is eager to join a well‑run school with excellent support from both parents and staff and who matches the person specification relevant to this post.

Responsibilities

  • Be an innovative and outstanding classroom practitioner, who has a passion for teaching.
  • Have a clear understanding of the National Curriculum; EYFS experience desirable.
  • Display a strong commitment to continuing to raise standards and levels of achievement, planning appropriately to meet children’s individual needs in all areas of learning.
  • Have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and a commitment to high standards, both professionally and personally.
  • Be flexible, enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a strong team.
