About This Opportunity: CTOT, the Council’s in‑house Transport Team, seeks a Passenger Carrying Vehicle Driver capable of driving a minibus and holding a D1 driving licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe transport for mainstream and SEND pupils.
- Maintain accurate passenger and vehicle records.
- Work collaboratively within the team to respond to operational challenges.
Requirements:
- D1 driving licence entitlement.
- Ability to pass a minibus driving assessment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience working with children preferred, but not essential.
Training & Assessment:
Full training will be provided. Successful candidates must pass a minibus driving assessment.
DBS Checks:
Enhanced DBS with Children’s and Adults Barred List check required.
