Inglewood Nursery and Infant School is a vibrant, friendly and inclusive school in Carlisle. We are proud to serve children aged 2–7, with a large and well-established Early Years department. We also maintain strong transition links with Inglewood Junior School, working closely to ensure our pupils are fully prepared for the move from Year 2 into Year 3.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Head Teacher to join our committed and experienced team, strengthening our leadership capacity and helping drive continued school improvement.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead whole-school curriculum development
  • Have strategic responsibility for reading across the school
  • Be a member of the Attendance Team
  • Undertake the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
  • Hold a Key Stage 1 teaching commitment, with associated classroom responsibilities

This is a full-time position.
