We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team at The Gillford Centre and School 180. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during the short-term absence of teaching staff by supervising classes and supporting pupils to remain engaged with the work that has been set.

Pupils will complete pre-prepared work under supervision. The primary focus of the role is to maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment, promote positive behaviour, and support pupils to achieve their best.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, is considering a future career in education, or wishes to gain valuable experience within a school environment.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out; references will be sought and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant pre-employment checks, including health and identity.
