About this Role:

Hours of work: 10 hours per week

Working pattern: Flexible around meeting commitments (30 meetings per year)

Term weeks: Term time only - 38 weeks, minimum paid weeks 43.6

We are seeking an administrator to support our Local Advisory Boards (LABs) within the Southern hub which includes: Queen Katherine School (Kendal), Stramongate Primary School (Kendal), Castle Park Primary School (Kendal), Kirkby Stephen Grammar School, Tebay Primary School and Yanwath Primary School.

This role will offer a degree of flexibility to provide minute taking at 30 meetings held in schools, for which the meeting schedule is agreed in the Summer Term for the following year (5pm start times), with all other administrative work and hours to be worked flexibly, including the option to work from home. Laptop and travel expenses provided.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be well organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Have good listening, oral and literacy skills
  • Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
