We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated trainee to join our Fundraising Team for a 9-month traineeship.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of fundraising activities while developing valuable skills within a charitable organisation.

Fundraising Trainee

Salary: NLW £12.71 ph based on a 28-hour working week

Contract: The traineeship is offered on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

The traineeship is an entry‑level role designed to support the fundraising team's work across corporate partnerships, individual giving, community fundraising, and grants fundraising. While you will gain exposure to all areas of fundraising, there will be a particular emphasis on supporting the Grants Team's work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical fundraising experience and gain insight into charity operations, supported by an experienced and successful team committed to your training, mentoring, and professional growth.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for conservation in Cumbria, an interest in fundraising, and excellent communication skills. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. Experience of researching and analysing information, along with the ability to write effectively for different audiences, would also be advantageous.
