Appointment of Legally Qualified Persons to serve on Police Misconduct Panels in the North West Region. The Police and Crime Commissioners for Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside are seeking to recruit Legally Qualified Persons who will be required to advise on Police Misconduct Panels for the Police Forces in the North West Region. These Panels hear gross misconduct cases for police officers, below the rank of Superintendent.
Applications are sought from qualified lawyers who can demonstrate integrity and independence of mind, commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, sound judgement and an objective approach to issues presented. The NW PCCs are fully supportive of diversity, equality and inclusion and strive to employ a workforce which is representative of the community it serves.
