Role Description
The Warehouse Operative role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Warrington. The role involves receiving and unloading deliveries, checking goods against documentation, and organizing stock in designated storage areas. Day‑to‑day tasks include packing and preparing orders for dispatch, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining accurate stock records. The Warehouse Operative will follow health and safety procedures, keep the warehouse clean and orderly, and collaborate with colleagues and drivers to ensure timely and correct shipments to customers.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Unloading and Material Handling to safely receive and move goods within the warehouse.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing to prepare orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation or other warehouse equipment use to handle palletized stock (relevant certifications are an advantage).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Health & Safety practices to maintain a safe working environment and comply with company procedures.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior warehouse or logistics experience, basic computer skills for inventory systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move items in line with safety guidelines.
