About this role
The Whitehaven Academy is part of the Cumbria Education Trust (CET), a growing multi‑academy trust dedicated to creating outstanding, innovative and inspiring learning environments for its schools and communities. As an integral member of CET, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school’s information system and organising all external and internal examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the school’s management information system.
- Plan, organise and administer all external and internal examinations.
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting within required deadlines.
- Co‑ordinate with teaching staff, students and external bodies regarding examination matters.
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant experience in a similar educational environment or appropriate qualifications.
- Demonstrable understanding of database technology.
- Extensive experience using MS Word & Excel.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time‑management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
