Working pattern: Monday - Friday

The successful candidate will be joining Longtown Primary School as part of CET at an exciting time, as we continue to build on our successes and move forward on our journey.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Be a qualified and experienced practitioner/SENDCo, with the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it within 3 years of appointment)
  • Have experience across year group planning and teaching.
  • Have experience of conducting training/leading Inset.
  • Be an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community.
  • Set high expectations and commit to challenging learners to achieve well.
  • Be a passionate, caring and inspirational teacher.
  • Be self‑motivated and reliable.
  • Be enthusiastic about inter‑school collaborative working and committed to continuous professional development.
  • Be able to lead a non-core subject/s across school.
