About this Role:

This role will join the school at a pivotal time as we work to establish ourselves as one of the highest‑performing MATs in the North of England. We are seeking an outstanding, creative and inspirational Teacher of Maths to join our team from September 2026. Hours of work: 0.4‑0.5 FTE based on a two‑week timetable. This is an excellent opportunity to join Kirkby Stephen Grammar School at a pivotal time for its future. We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, reflective in their teaching practice and focused on getting the best from every student across all key stages of the secondary curriculum.

  • Possess a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Bed)
  • Be an excellent communicator
