The Queen Katherine School is part of Cumbria Education Trust. What We Are Looking For

  • Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Bed)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science, Chemistry preferred
  • Ability to teach the full age and ability range, including A level
  • Ability to deliver creative, engaging and challenging lessons
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in a variety of contexts
  • Ability to work in a close‑knit team
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and achievement and continuous review and curriculum development.
