Basis: Term time 38 weeks + one additional week (inc inset)

Status: Fixed Term

Salary: Grade 3 - £24,796 - £25,185 FTE (Actual Salary £11,464 - £11,644)

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Cook to join our friendly team at Queen Katherine School. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in providing nutritious, balanced meals to students and staff in a safe and welcoming environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals
  • Assist in delivering a high-quality catering service for students and staff
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen
  • Help with stock control and organisation of supplies
  • Work collaboratively as part of a busy catering team
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and effectively
