Salary: Grade 7A/B – £28,598 – £29,540 per annum, pro rata (pay award pending).

Working Hours: Full time 37 hours per week, part time 30 hours and term time working available for the right candidate.

About this role

This post offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic finance administrator to join the highly acclaimed Cumbria Education Trust, the largest school-based multi-academy trust in Cumbria. We are seeking to appoint an additional Finance Assistant to support the work in our central Finance Team. The role will be primarily located at the Trust’s main offices in Brampton.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have previous experience of working within finance administration
  • Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Have an understanding of basic financial practice and processes
  • Be self‑motivated, naturally organised, with good attention to detail
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Be committed to a career in accountancy and excellent service delivery
