As Curriculum Lead For Science, you will provide clear strategic leadership for the subject, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching, learning and achievement. You will work collaboratively with senior leaders and colleagues to:

  • Lead and develop an ambitious, knowledge‑rich Science curriculum
  • Secure sustained improvement in outcomes across all key stages
  • Support and develop teachers through high‑quality subject leadership and coaching
  • Use assessment and evidence to inform curriculum refinement and teaching practice
  • Contribute actively to the Academy’s wider improvement priorities

This role carries a TLA 1a allowance in recognition of the responsibility and impact of the post.

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge in Science
