Cumbria Education Trust is creating a new role of Communications & Engagement Officer to strengthen how we connect with our schools, staff, families and communities during an exciting period of growth and development. This is an interim opportunity with potential to become permanent.

The Role

  • Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in delivering clear, purposeful and engaging communications across the Trust.

You Will

  • Support Trust‑wide communications for staff, schools and communities
  • Internal communications that connect people and build understanding
  • Community engagement activity that strengthens relationships with families and local partners
  • Content creation across a range of channels, sharing the real stories of our schools

Experience in education, the public sector or community‑focused organisations would be an advantage, but is not essential.
