This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Organisational Development Facilitator to join our Organisational Development and Workforce Training Team. You will play a key role in delivering training across the organisation with a focus on supporting individuals to thrive in their roles and supporting the delivery of the Our Future Cumberland Programme – a transformational initiative to align people, processes and purpose across the council.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and delivering engaging organisational development and learning sessions
- Supporting organisational change through high‑quality facilitation
- Engaging small to medium‑sized groups confidently, online and face‑to‑face
- Keeping sessions focused, inclusive and impactful
- Building strong, trusted working relationships across the organisation
- Using a range of delivery methods, including digital tools
You’ll be based in Carlisle or Workington, with some travel to council sites across Cumbria.

- Has experience planning, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes
- Brings strong facilitation skills and can confidently engage diverse audiences
- Understands organisational development principles and change management
