Job Title: Support Worker (Extra Care Housing)

Location: Greta Gardens, Keswick

Salary: ÂŁ13.47 per hour

Hours: 1 x 24.5 hours and 1 x 22 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

About Extra Care Housing

Support older adults to live independently the way they choose. Extra Care Housing provides support to people living within an assisted living community where everyone has their own home environment, such as a flat, bungalow or within a retirement village.

About This Opportunity

As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. If you do have experience, then take the next step in your career with us.

DBS Checks

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is Enhanced DBS Check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Adults.
