Join Cumberland Council as a Service Manager – Quality Assurance & Governance
Are you passionate about driving quality and improvement in Adult Social Care and Housing services? Cumberland Council is seeking a dynamic leader to head our quality assurance and governance functions.
You’ll play a pivotal role in preparing for Care Quality Commission inspections, leading self‑assessment and improvement planning, and ensuring our services meet the highest standards. This is a strategic role with influence across internal teams, external partners, and national forums.
This role is available on a permanent basis.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with substantial experience in quality management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is essential, along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
