Location: Flexible, currently home working. Team base is Cumbria House, Carlisle

Salary: £33,366 - £34,314 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months

About This Opportunity

It’s a challenging and exciting time to work for Cumberland Council, which has recently celebrated its first year in operation. We are looking for dynamic and motivated professionals to join us as part of the council’s Adults Social Care and Housing transformation team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a difference by prioritizing health and wellbeing, building an inclusive economy, fostering a fairer society, protecting our environment, and delivering excellent public services. You will develop your knowledge and experience while supporting all phases of the project lifecycle, including scoping, initiation, implementation, delivery, and benefits realization.

Cumberland’s Programme Management Office, within the Business Transformation and Change Directorate, oversees improving, governing, controlling, and assuring investment and change within the Council and service delivery. This position is within the Programme Management Office and is matrix managed by Adults Social Care and Housing (ASCH) to support Community Health and Wellbeing within the ASCH transformation programme.
