Are you passionate about driving ICT transformation and delivering impactful change? Cumberland Council is seeking an ICT Project Manager to lead a portfolio of ICT change projects across the organisation, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
About The Role
Lead and manage a range of ICT projects, coordinating resources and stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes.
Support management with technical advice, project planning, and programme management.
Support the procurement processes for new and replacement systems in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Develop project scopes, objectives, and detailed plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Research best practices and innovative solutions to inform project delivery.
Facilitate smooth transitions from \βas-is\β to \βto-be\β states, ensuring benefits realisation.
Capture and share learning across the organisation, preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
What We\βre Looking For
Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
Proven track record of delivering ICT projects in large, complex organisations.
Extensive knowledge of the project management lifecycle and agile methodologies, with expertise in delivering projects on time and within scope.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Evidence-based decision-making and problem-solving ability.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to excellent service.
