Family Help Worker (Early Help Worker) – CMB2032e at Cumberland Council

Location: Carlisle or Workington

Salary: £34,434 – £35,412 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: 3 permanent positions and 1 fixed-term contract (12 months)

Responsibilities

  • Provide early, targeted support to children, young people and families to help prevent issues escalating to statutory intervention.
  • Build strong, respectful, and trusting relationships with families; carry out child-centred assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions, parenting support, and child development programmes.
  • Work in homes, schools, and community settings, ensuring the voices of children and young people are central to planning and support.
