Development Management Manager – Carlisle, as part of the Thriving Place service, leads planning operations across the Carlisle region. This role supports the Thriving Place service, committed to transforming health, well-being, and prosperity through sustainable development and vibrant, accessible places. Cumberland is home to varied landscapes and spatial challenges, with opportunities for development and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Carlisle area team of planning professionals.
  • Oversee complex planning applications, enforcement activities and strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, councillors, and communities.
