Responsibilities

  • Engage with residents and staff to understand residents’ food and drink preferences and develop menus that reflect those preferences with variety, a balanced and wholesome diet, and meet varying nutritional requirements.
  • Prepare, cook and present meals, snacks and refreshments in an appetising manner.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the running of the kitchen, ensuring hygiene standards meet current legislation and maximising kitchen efficiency.
