About This Opportunity

Are you passionate about organisational development and driven by meaningful change? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Organisational Development Partner to join our Organisational Development Workforce Training and Wellbeing Team in Carlisle or Workington.

About The Role

You’ll be part of our well‑established Organisational Development Workforce Training and Wellbeing Team, working with colleagues to identify, design and deliver learning across a wide range of areas – from personal development topics such as coaching skills through to leadership and management. This role will also support the delivery of the Our Future Cumberland programme and help our workforce navigate change with confidence and clarity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Consulting with directorates and services regarding their organisational development needs
  • Translating development needs into directorate, service and/or corporate interventions
  • Designing and delivering engaging organisational development and learning sessions
  • Supporting organisational change through high‑quality facilitation, engaging groups confidently, online and face‑to‑face
  • Building strong, trusted working relationships at all levels across the organisation
  • Working to support and improve working relationships and team dynamics during periods of change
  • Providing solution‑focused outcomes supporting senior managers in cultural shift
  • Using a range of delivery methods, including digital tools
  • Mediation techniques are desirable

About You

  • Highly skilled, experienced and engaging facilitator
  • Experienced in translating, planning, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes
  • Strong facilitation skills and can confidently engage diverse audiences
  • Understanding of organisational development principles and change management
  • Ability to adapt style and methods to different settings and learners
  • Clear communication and collaborative working style
  • Aligns with our values and builds positive relationships wherever you work

Salary & Working Conditions

  • Salary: £40,777 - £41,771 per annum
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Location: Carlisle or Workington – with some travel across Cumbria
  • Contract: Permanent
