About the Role
Organised Digitisation & Records Clerk to support storage, digitisation and management of Council records. Office based at specific sites in Carlisle with no opportunity for working from home or other sites.
Key Duties
- Manage storage, retrieval and tracking of files
- Maintain accurate record lists and datasets
- Support secure handling and confidentiality of information
- Assist with appraisal, archiving and disposal of records
- Prepare and scan documents, checking for accuracy and ensuring high-quality digital outputs
- Manual handling of large amounts of boxes on a regular basis, including on and off shelves, and working from height in record stores
- Moving boxes between Council sites on a van
About You
Detail-focused, reliable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong organisational skills and proactive approach. Must undertake regular manual handling duties, including lifting and moving a high volume of boxes.
