About This Opportunity
The Support at Home Service is part of Adult Social Care and Housing and it provides both Reablement and Domiciliary support services and sits within Cumberland Care. The Domiciliary service operates during the day and at night, support workers providing support to individuals based on a strength based care plan which will identify tasks and assistance required to enable activities of daily living to be undertaken within individuals own home. Reablement is a short-term service, which operates during the day; its purpose is to maximise independence for individuals. This is done through the creation of a support plan with the person referred into the service which identifies goals that individuals want to work towards.
Purpose of the role
The Deputy Teams manager will support the Registered Manager to ensure that CQC regulated Support at Home services are delivered efficiently, effectively and to a consistently high standard across the service area. Experience of managing staff teams is essential as they will manage a team of supervisors, ensuring that staff are robustly supported to carry out their roles.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is Enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults.
