About This Opportunity

Cumberland Council is looking for an Assistant Highway Network Technician to join our Highways and Transport team. This is a great opportunity to support the delivery of highway improvement and maintenance projects across the county. In this varied role, you’ll assist with surveys, design work and specifications, collect and manage asset data, and help coordinate works with contractors and colleagues. You’ll also contribute to winter maintenance activities, provide basic technical advice, and ensure projects are delivered in line with standards, budgets and timescales.

Salary: £26,403 to £26,824 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent
