An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Carlisle Adult Learning team. We are looking to recruit a highly skilled Spanish tutor who has a real passion for foreign languages. Learning a language offers many benefits, from enhancing cognitive abilities to boosting career prospects and providing travel opportunities. The service offers an extensive range of subjects to the communities of Carlisle, and the right candidate will offer interesting and engaging courses to support the growth of the Service. Teaching hours will be varied and are dependent on demand; it is likely you will need to be available for classes during day and evening hours.
Who We Are Looking For
The successful applicant will hold an introductory teaching qualification in the adult learning sector (minimum Level 3, e.g. PTLLS/Award in Education and Training) or be willing to work towards and must achieve in the first 12 months. A relevant qualification and/or relevant experience in the subject specialism being taught is also essential. The successful candidate will be experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
