We’re looking for an experienced Strategy Manager to join our team as we move through our Transformation journey and start to consider our longer term ambition. This will be a fixed term role for a period of 24 months.

The Role
- To support the Head of Strategy and CEO in strategic planning and production of the strategic outcomes, annual corporate objectives, and key performance indicators.
- Support the preparation of the corporate strategy and vision – facilitate the process and provide appropriate input to decision makers.
- Engage with colleagues across the organisation to communicate and embed the strategy.
- Facilitate strategy planning cycle and away days.
- Lead the setting of strategic priorities, working with finance and enterprise architecture to define priorities for investment.
- Develop the strategic plan and roadmap.
- Monitor and Report on Strategy Track progress on strategic outcomes, annual corporate objectives, and key performance indicators, producing regular Board updates to maintain focus on delivery throughout the year.
- Monitor and assess internal and external trends through Quarterly Business reviews.
- Carry out competitor benchmarking, industry intelligence and horizon scanning providing up to date relevant insight to the Head of Strategy, and preparing SLT, Board and Committee papers and presentations as appropriate.
- Identify, evaluate, monitor and manage strategic risks, including regular reporting to relevant committees.
- Align Heads of Functions on driving forward strategic implementation and priorities, working with colleagues at all levels of the Society.
- Work with functional leads to ensure functional plans aligns to the corporate strategy.
- Support the shaping of cross-functional strategic initiatives and business cases.
- To play cross-functional review and challenge role considering the needs of the whole enterprise.
- To identify and unblock enterprise-wide issues that challenge implementation of the strategy.
- Manage strategic initiatives.

- Experience working cross-functionally and presenting to senior stakeholders (written and verbal presentation skills).
- Ability to synthesise complex information into actionable insights.
