We are looking for Credit Risk Analyst who can deliver management information and insight as required by the immediate team and broader business, including the production and development of statutory and regulatory requirements

The role

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Deliver in line with agreed quality and quantity new and existing management information, including statutory and regulatory reporting
  • Provide technical input into requests for new and existing management information from the business to ensure the most efficient production of accurate and useful data
  • Provide ad hoc MI and insight as required
  • Ability to organise and prioritise day to day workload and to deliver to deadlines
  • Provide analytical support to a combination of internal and regulatory lead projects and audits
  • Develop Analytical and Insight capabilities through the development of a suite of Business Intelligence covering all Group products
  • Understand and be aware of the risk and control environment of the business and adhere to processes and procedures in order to minimise risk

About you

With experience in preparing reports and presenting data and business information to senior management, you will have:

  • Advanced Excel, including pivot tables and developing macro
  • SQL / SAS experience
  • Power BI experience preferable
  • High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • To be a reliable team worker with the ability to work on your own initiative where required
  • A self-motivated, logical and organised approach
  • A flexible and proactive approach with the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
  • Knowledge of reporting tools and VBA is also desirable
