We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Analyst to support the Change Management (CMO) function. This is a fixed-term position for 18 months. The PMO Analyst is a member of the CMO Team, supporting the PMO Manager in the governance and control of programmes & projects across the change portfolios. As a PMO Analyst, you will help ensure the successful delivery of projects by maintaining governance, tracking progress, and managing risks. You will work closely with the project teams and stakeholders to provide performance insights and keep projects on track. This role offers exposure to change management frameworks and the opportunity to develop high organisational, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The Role
Main responsibilities include:
- Adherence to governance frameworks and standards that enable effective decision-making within the Society to support the increase of quality and pace of delivery.
- Help produce and maintain dashboards, status reports and updates, ensuring accurate and timely information is available for leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist in the logging and monitoring of risks, issues and dependencies across the Society, escalating where appropriate and driving expectations of quality management.
- Provide project assurance, including instigating quality assurance controls across change projects.
- Provide health-check assessments to allow early intervention & timely resolution of issues / concerns.
- Contribute ideas for improving PMO processes and ways of working, leading on initiatives to effective delivery and helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
- Work closely with the PMO Team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the PMO, supporting key initiatives as needed and facilitating PMO led forums.
- Assist in the capturing & monitoring of lessons learned across the portfolio and ensure that project closure activities are completed in line with the assurance framework.
- Drive consistent approach to planning, ensuring that project plans are maintained and provide a 'single version of the truth'.
- Assist in change control production and end of baseline reports for proposed changes to plan, scope, requirements & cost.
- Ensure project documentation is clearly defined, stored in necessary locations, under version control and maintained in line with CBS standard.
About You
We would love to see the following experience and knowledge:
- Experience working in a change function across a range of complex Regulatory and Business Initiatives/projects.
- Previous experience working within a PMO team and can demonstrate a solid understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery management methodologies.
- Demonstrable PMO experience in delivering a wide range of projects and programmes within a financial services environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in project governance and compliance e.g. RAID, lessons learned, change control, reporting etc.
- Experience in the management of Portfolio, Programme and Project lifecycles.

- Good attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time.
- A strong drive to deliver change; a pro-active, pragmatic and dynamic approach to work with the ability to challenge barriers to delivery at pace.
- Can identify actions and outputs quickly and effectively to benefit the change associated with the Programme/ Portfolio success.
- Embrace ambiguity and address Programme/ Portfolio challenges with decision making and independent action.
- Future thinking and proactive around the management and control of Programme/ Portfolio Plan, Costs and Benefits.
- Strong experience of PPM tools and Microsoft applications.
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills across all levels.
Where you will work
Our aim is to keep the great balance we have achieved with hybrid working. The successful candidate would therefore be willing to work remotely and be able to work from Cumberland House twice per month, and as and when required.
