Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Administrator to join our Learning Team on a fixed term contract for a period of 18 months.
This role is part of the Learning Team who are responsible for learning events, onboarding new colleagues and maintaining our learning management system amongst many other things. As a team we’re energised by the opportunity we have to help shape our colleagues’ development – we are constantly pushing ourselves to do that in a simple and human way. The Role
As our Learning & Development Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of administration associated with the Learning Team are completed within agreed timescales and with a high degree of accuracy, including:
- Assisting with all elements of event administration, including promotion of learning events, arranging hospitality, room layout and equipment, liaising with trainers/partners, booking rooms, printing and distributing course materials, and ensuring required equipment is available and in working order.
- Developing and maintaining accurate and easily accessible records for all events and, through this, supporting the provision of management information and budget tracking.
- Generating reports from our Learning Management System when required.
- Assisting with the evaluation of learning initiatives, including ensuring evaluation forms are completed and returned following learning events and feeding back results to the team.
- Registering colleagues for external courses and qualifications.
- Developing and maintaining positive collaborative working relationships with all colleagues to sustain the reputation of the wider People & Culture team as a customer-focused function.
About You
We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational and time-management skills. You’ll manage competing priorities, multitask and meet deadlines reliably. You’ll be a great communicator both verbally and in writing.
You’ll be adaptable and pro-active, flexible in responding to changing needs and proactive in spotting improvements. You’ll be a great team-worker, collaborating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
