Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our friendly team in Lutterworth on a full-time permanent basis.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating.
Salary: £28,000 per annum.
As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills, you should already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS.
Key Duties of a Stock Controller:
- Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and dispatched loads and amend and rework accordingly.
- Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Dispatch Team, the problem pallet area.
- Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity, ensuring all checks are completed first.
- Hold and Release process.
- Assist in the management of the pallet database.
- Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
- Complete daily reports on a daily and weekly basis.
- Coordinate ODT planning with Mars and Haulier.
- Assist Stock Management with investigations.
- Handle additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, and samples.
Qualifications:
- Previous stock control experience.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
- Team player who can also work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
