We are currently recruiting for an Allocator to join our team at our Milton Keynes site, where you will be responsible for monitoring all stock movements within the warehouse. As an Allocator, you will also set up and run orders in line with the shift plan to meet scheduled dispatch times. You should work closely with the warehouse First Line Managers to effectively manage resource and ensure that the flow of work is continuous to maximise efficiency.
Salary: £24,744 per annum.
Working hours: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am.
Responsibilities Of An Allocator Include:
- Controlling equipment allocation within specified areas.
- Pre-allocating loads and ensuring advanced pick position is maintained in line with shift plan.
- Monitoring and updating shift plans in order to deliver regular progress updates.
- Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
- Running orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
- Selecting appropriate loading and unloading bays based on current operational requirements.
- Updating the electronic schedule and auto-store systems to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
- Carrying out stock shortage investigations on picks and monitoring replenishments.
- Compiling and sending reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience within a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
- IT literate with knowledge surrounding MS Office and various WMS databases.
- Effective organisation skills with the ability to work from your own initiative.
