We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Senior Marketing Executive to support our marketing activity across the full mix – from website and SEO, to social, events, content and visual assets. This is a broad, varied role suited to a marketing generalist who enjoys switching between planning and execution, and who takes pride in keeping lots of moving parts progressing at once. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to help turn ideas into action, strengthen our brand presence, and ensure our marketing activity is consistent, purposeful and effective.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and updating our website via WordPress, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and aligned to our brand and messaging, while implementing SEO recommendations to improve visibility and performance across search and emerging AI-driven discovery.
- Planning, creating and publishing a range of marketing content, including blogs, website pages, newsletters, customer communications and case studies, with a clear understanding of audience and purpose.
- Managing and growing our LinkedIn presence, creating a consistent flow of written, visual and short-form content to strengthen brand presence and engagement.
- Producing visual and multimedia assets to support marketing activity, including graphics, GIFs or short video snippets for social, campaigns and events, and repurposing content across formats and channels to maximise reach and impact.
- Supporting webinars, online events and customer engagement initiatives, including creating supporting assets and communications, and helping to showcase customer advocacy and success stories.
- Maintaining content and activity calendars, balancing priorities, and ensuring a consistent and strategic flow of marketing output.
- Staying informed on relevant industry trends, news and conversations, and feeding insights into content and marketing planning.
- Reviewing performance across channels, identifying opportunities for improvement, and adjusting approach accordingly.
What we’re looking for:
- Manchester or North West based.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a marketing role.
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
- Confidence using WordPress (or a similar CMS) to publish and manage content.
- Experience using email platforms or marketing automation tools such as HubSpot.
- Ability to think strategically about content, audience and impact, not just output.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Highly creative, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving scale-up environment.
- Experience working with SEO agencies and implementing technical/on-page recommendations.
- Understanding of how content performs across both traditional search and LLM-based discovery.
- Experience in SaaS, tech, HR, DEI, wellbeing or culture-focused organisations.
