Location: Hybrid, ideally based near Manchester or Leeds

Engagement: Part-time (28 hours a week / 4 days or spread over the week)

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 FTE (pro rata, 4 days per week) Plus commission and Performance Bonus

We’re now looking for a commercially minded Business Development professional to help us scale our impact.

Role Description

This part-time hybrid role, based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, offers some flexibility for remote work. As a Business Development Manager focusing on Leadership and Culture, you will identify and develop new business opportunities by building strategic client relationships and driving sales. You will collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with services, design tailored solutions, and deliver impactful pitches and proposals. Monitoring market trends and contributing to our strategic sales approach will also be integral to this role.

We’re seeking someone who can hit the ground running, someone who knows the culture and leadership space, understands how to build trust with HR and senior leaders, and can convert interest into meaningful client conversations. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone who may already be active in the space and wants to plug into a growing team with a strong reputation and pipeline.

What You’ll Do

  • Qualify and convert inbound leads from our marketing and referral channels
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned to our services
  • Leverage your own network to open doors, build relationships and win new clients
  • Collaborate with our consultants to shape compelling proposals and pitches
  • Track pipeline activity and help us refine our sales process
  • Work with suppliers to improve the inbound lead process and identify new channels and sources of new business
  • Represent our brand with credibility, warmth, and insight
  • Support organising, coordination and participation of Sales Events and Business Development Activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally in consulting, L&D, OD, or leadership development
  • Strong network in the HR, people, or leadership space
  • Confidence in leading sales conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly, we’re open to shaping the role around the right person
  • Based in the UK, proximity to Manchester/North West England is a bonus
