Location: Barking, East London – (Hybrid) 1 day WFH – with some travel to sites
Culture Guru is working with a highly respected construction and refurbishment contractor in East London to find a Senior Estimator to join their growing Pre-Construction team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, works well under pressure, and knows how to balance commercial rigour with practical build insight.
You’ll play a key role in pricing projects accurately and representing the company with professionalism and clarity from the very first interaction.
Responsibilities of the role, but not limited to;
- Lead the preparation and timely submission of compliant tenders, cost plans, and quotations.
- Review drawings and carry out precise take-offs to inform accurate pricing.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure quotes aligned with project requirements.
- Ensure all supporting documentation – commercial, contractual, and administrative – is ready for submission.
- Liaise closely with internal teams – from commercial to operational and admin – to ensure clarity and accuracy in tender submissions.
- Attend internal handover meetings to transition successful bids into delivery smoothly.
- Represent the company at pre-start client meetings and interviews when required.
- Produce relevant reports and analysis to support tender outcomes.
- Work in accordance with internal policies and procedures, maintaining standards of quality and compliance throughout.
- Support a collaborative and professional approach across all departments involved in the tendering process.

- Holds a valid UK driving licence and DBS (or willing to obtain one)
