Temporary Marketing Assistant / EA – Hands-On Support for a Fast-Growth EdTech Brand

Salary: £20-£25ph

Hours: 40 hours per week (09:00–18:00)

Start: ASAP

Contract: Temporary (3-6 months with possibility to extend) / Full-Time (Hybrid) 3 days WFH

Culture Guru is delighted to be hiring a Temporary Generalist Assistant / EA to work directly with the Head of Marketing at a playful, purpose-led EdTech brand redefining how children learn through humour, storytelling, and creativity.

This role is for someone who thrives on variety, organisation, and being the reliable extra pair of hands that keeps everything moving. You’ll be right at the heart of a busy marketing function, supporting projects, managing admin, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks while the team grows.

Responsibilities of the role, but not limited to;

  • Providing EA-style support to the Head of Marketing – diary management, meeting prep, note-taking, and action tracking
  • Coordinating marketing projects and deadlines across multiple campaigns and channels
  • Organising and maintaining the content and asset library (copy, images, videos, creative files)
  • Supporting campaign setup and logistics (email, website, paid media, partnerships)
  • Pulling together reports, trackers, and summaries for marketing activity and performance
  • Conducting ad-hoc research on competitors, market trends, and potential partners
  • Liaising with suppliers, agencies, and freelancers to ensure smooth operations
  • General marketing and administrative support to keep the department running efficiently

  • Previous experience in a marketing, EA, or team support role within a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive – able to juggle multiple priorities at once
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Tech-comfortable – able to pick up new tools quickly (experience with project management tools or marketing platforms is a bonus)
