Culture Guru is working with a highly respected construction and refurbishment contractor in East London to find a Senior Estimator to join their growing Pre-Construction team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, works well under pressure, and knows how to balance commercial rigour with practical build insight. Responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead the preparation and timely submission of compliant tenders, cost plans, and quotations.
- Review drawings and carry out precise take-offs to inform accurate pricing.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure quotes aligned with project requirements.
- Ensure all supporting documentation – commercial, contractual, and administrative – is ready for submission.
- Liaise closely with internal teams – from commercial to operational and admin – to ensure clarity and accuracy in tender submissions.
- Attend internal handover meetings to transition successful bids into delivery smoothly.
- Represent the company at pre-start client meetings and interviews when required.
