Are you a property insurance specialist who backs yourself - and wants the autonomy to own and grow a vertical, plus a genuine equity stake in what you build!? Culture Guru is recruiting for an experienced Senior Property Account Executive on behalf of a scaling, privately-owned boutique insurance brokerage - an award-nominated Small Broker of the Year finalist.
This is an independent brokerage that intends to stay that way - with a clear five-year plan to build up and exit. They're now building out their property vertical, so this vacancy would suit a senior property specialist who wants genuine scope to own and grow that side of the business their way.
Responsibilities of the role but not limited to:
- Bringing over and/or building your own property book (target c.£350k+)
- Shaping and growing the property vertical as the business scales
- Winning new business across property owners, block management, real estate, residential and commercial
- Owning your client relationships end to end – advice, placement, renewal, retention
- Negotiating terms and wordings with underwriters to get the best client outcome
- Managing your own pipeline, diary and activity with genuine autonomy
- Shaping the property growth plan alongside the business owners
- Consistently delivering against (and beating) your new-business targets
Desirable attributes of the successful candidate:
- A genuine track record of winning new property business as an account executive
- Hard evidence of the property book and revenue you've personally built or grown
- A portable book you could realistically bring – or a credible plan to build one to £350k+
- Deep property expertise – property owners, block management, real estate, residential and/or commercial
- Frustrated with big-broker bureaucracy and hungry for autonomy and real impact
- Entrepreneurial – you back yourself and you're motivated by long-term equity/upside
- Strong network across the South West and/or South Wales
- A confident, credible communicator who can build rapport and negotiate
- Driven by results, comfortable owning your own time and your own numbers
Full UK driving licence required.
