Event Producer - Fashion/Culture/Art - Volunteer

Help bring creative cultural events to life! We're looking for an Event Producer with experience or transferable skills across fashion, culture or the arts to support the planning and development of events, exhibitions, workshops and cultural experiences.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone with professional experience in project management or events, preferably within fashion, arts, culture or the creative industries.

You’ll be organised, creative and practical, with the ability to take an idea and think through the steps, people and resources needed to bring it to life.

We’d particularly value

• Project management or event planning/delivery experience.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Confidence working with venues, suppliers, creatives and participants.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute ideas.

Experience with fashion shows, exhibitions, workshops, community or cultural events would be particularly welcome.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for an Event Producer to support the development and planning of our growing programme of cultural and creative events.

Working with our Founder/Managing Director and wider project team, you’ll help turn ideas into well-planned, engaging experiences. Our projects can range from cultural fashion shows and exhibitions to workshops, community events, pop-ups and bespoke events for partners.

Depending on the project, you may help with

• Developing event concepts and plans.
• Creating timelines, schedules and event briefs.
• Researching venues, suppliers, creatives and other event requirements.
• Coordinating with participants, partners and contributors.
• Supporting event logistics and helping identify potential challenges.
• Bringing creative ideas and practical event experience to project discussions.

The role is flexible and activities will depend on our current projects and your availability. You won’t be expected to manage every aspect of an event or take sole responsibility for delivery.

For some fully funded projects, there may also be opportunities for separately agreed paid work, particularly for substantial project delivery or event-day implementation. These opportunities will depend on available funding and project requirements and are not guaranteed.
